"Bonnes Nouvelles originated 10 years ago for Evangeline Parish. The idea was that of my sister Grace Dardeau (now deceased). She was a retired English teacher and graduate of the Sacred Heart College in Grand Coteau. It was her belief that a very important part of history was not being told, such as stories about our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, which are the foundations in all our communities..."
