Candyman waits for shot
12/27/06 - Rob Davis
Homegrown boxing hero Prevost trains, hopes for world title bout.
LAWTELL - It's the holiday season in south Louisiana, where nothing but a cool French blue sky covers
the flattened golden, harvested fields.
There's no other place one of boxing's fastest rising talents would be. |

Jose Torres
12/19/06 - Jim Amato - New Featured Writer!
There was a time in the mid 60's that revolved around who would be Muhammad Ali's next opponent. The former
Cassius Clay was chewing up and spitting out challengers with alarming ease. His hold on the heavyweight
title was reaching the point of fan boredom. Few could see any serious contenders on the horizon. |

old Reggie Johnson has been in with some of the best competition the sport has to offer, during

Un-forgiveness = Sickness And Death
12/13/06 - Reggie Johnson
If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to
forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins (Matthew 6:14-15, NLT).
Dear friends:
"If you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do
not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins" (Jesus, Matthew 6:14-15, NIV). |

He will soon be a 3-time World Boxing Champion!
12/13/06 - Kerry Daigle
Vision is the art of seeing the invisible and I want to thank Tim Mousel for seeing what I see
and what I've already seen twice. At this stage of my career the chance of me winning a 3rd World
Title is out of the ball park to the non-believers.
They don't know of my secret weapon (Tim Mousel) and what he brings to Team Johnson and the mission
at hand. Tim's job is to make me bigger, faster, and stronger in which will not only give me the
physical edge but the mental edge as well as we pursue World Title number three and secure my spot
in the Boxing Hall Of Fame. |

26 YEAR OLD PETER LERNER "WALKS THE TALK" FOR RETIRED PROFESSIONAL BOXERS!
12/13/06 - Alex Ramos
An important international event occurred in Italy, inspired by a young man who
loves the sport of boxing and who wanted to do something for the retired fighters who had fallen on
hard times. Peter Lerner (Age 26) – a young Englishman who moved to Rome two years ago – completed
a grueling 24-hour walk to show his support for the great warriors of the Sweet Science. With the
help of his family, friends, his girlfriend, their friends and school children, this young man
made an historical humanitarian effort on behalf of people he has never met—retired professional boxers. |
